Having grown up in the Mid-West I never thought that my life would lead me to several other states and end up in Alaska. Alaska life does hold many fascinations.
When living in the Southwest I started pursuing my jewelry designing and making interests. With the help and advice of others more accomplished than me, much was learned.
So, 2010 holds lots of new creations. One that will be coming very soon is Lampwork beads from our Alaska studio. Jim, our artist, has certainly created some beauties and I am sure you will find them fascinating. The more you look at his Lampwork beads, the more you see.

Blue Lampwork, Garnets, Swarovski, Czech Glass Y Style Necklace
The focal bead is a light blue Murano Style Foil Wrapped Lampwork bead accented at top and bottom by a sterling silver saucer, one cobalt blue and one larger light blue Swarovski crystals. Before joining the necklace of white glass pearls alternated with a light blue Czech glass bead on each side is another light blue Swarovski crystal with a garnet bead on both sides of the focal area.
