Having grown up in the Mid-West I never thought that my life would lead me to several other states and end up in Alaska. Alaska life does hold many fascinations.
When living in the Southwest I started pursuing my jewelry designing and making interests. With the help and advice of others more accomplished than me, much was learned.
So, 2010 holds lots of new creations. One that will be coming very soon is Lampwork beads from our Alaska studio. Jim, our artist, has certainly created some beauties and I am sure you will find them fascinating. The more you look at his Lampwork beads, the more you see.

Turquoise Blue Set of 5 Boro Beads
One boro bead set consisting of 5 beads. One larger bead for a focal point and 4 smaller beads. Sizes in diameter and thickness as follows: 16.00 mm x 7.75 mm, 15.50 mm x 7.69 mm, 15.68 mm x 8.99 mm, 16.08 mm x 7.51 mm and 19.16 x 10.23 mm.
Beads made with a 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) *mandrel hole. All beads handmade in our Anchorage, Alaska torch room, annealed with release removed from mandrel hole. Beads are larger than life size to show detail and color.
*Note: mandrel hole is larger than stated due to thickness of bead release. Chain and silver spacer beads are NOT included.
